European airfares start to bump up

Summer airfares from the United States to several major European cities have increased.

After large ticket sales in the past few months, airlines have decided to increase ticket prices to exploit the prime travel period for families heading to Europe.

Some airline destinations such as Frankfurt, London, Rome and Athens have spiked in price between 45 and 100 percent since last week.
