BUENOS AIRES, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Godoy Cruz rose to fourth in the Argentine Primera Division Group A standings on Saturday after coming from behind to secure a 3-1 home victory over Platense.
Tiago Palacios gave the visitors the lead with a 26th minute tap-in after combining with Matias Tissera, but Ezequiel Bullaude equalized shortly after with a close-range finish after Cristian Colman's cross from the left.
It took until the 87th minute for the hosts to break the deadlock as Wilder Cartagena sent a glancing header into the bottom left corner after a floating Martin Ojeda free-kick.
Renzo Tesuri put the result beyond doubt with a stoppage time volley after Ojeda's skilful buildup play.
Godoy Cruz moved to fourth in the 13-team standings with two wins, one draw and one loss, five points behind leaders Colon. Platense remained 10th with just three points from as many matches.
In other Argentine top flight matches on Saturday, Lanus won 2-1 at home to Atletico Tucuman, Talleres Cordoba drew 1-1 at Sarmiento and hosts Colon overcame Aldosivi 2-1.
