BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- A late goal from Nahuel Ulariaga gave Godoy Cruz a 1-0 home win over Colon in Argentina's Primera Division on Sunday.
The 20-year-old striker capitalized on smart work from Salomon Rodriguez before firing an 86th-minute shot into the top-left corner.
The result at Malvinas stadium in Mendoza lifted Godoy Cruz to second in the 28-team standings with six points from their first two matches of the season. Colon are 26th, having yet to pick up a point.
Earlier, Boca Juniors dominated for long periods but had to contend with a goalless home draw with Central Cordoba. The hosts controlled 73 percent of possession and completed 583 passes compared to Central Cordoba's tally of 215.
In other Primera Division fixtures on Sunday, Platense won 2-1 at Independiente, Talleres Cordoba prevailed 2-0 at Atletico Tucuman and Instituto ACC won 2-0 at Union Santa Fe.
