RIO DE JANEIRO, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Brazil's Internacional is in talks to sign midfielder Alan Rodriguez from Argentinos Juniors, according to media reports in South America.
The Porto Alegre club has made an offer of four million U.S. dollars for the 25-year-old Uruguayan, Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte said on Wednesday.
It added that Argentine giants Boca Juniors were also interested in signing the former Defensor Sporting and Boston River player.
Rodriguez, whose contract with Argentinos Juniors runs until December 2027, has played 17 games for the Buenos Aires club this year, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
Brazilian football's mid-season transfer window is open from July 10 to September 2.
