BUENOS AIRES, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Facundo Bruera scored in each half as Barracas Central moved to third in Group A of Argentina's Primera Division with a 2-0 home win over 10-man Argentinos Juniors on Saturday.

Bruera opened the scoring in the fourth minute, taking a touch before rifling a low finish past former Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero.

Argentinos Juniors suffered another blow shortly after when left-back Claudio Bravo was shown a straight red card for a dangerous challenge on midfielder Siro Rosane.

The hosts doubled their lead through Bruera, who side-footed home after Rodrigo Insua's cross four minutes from time.

Barracas Central is now two points behind group leader Union Santa Fe, while Argentinos Juniors is seventh, three points further back.

Elsewhere in Argentina's top flight on Saturday, Aldosivi won 3-1 at home to Independiente Rivadavia, Talleres prevailed 1-0 at Velez Sarsfield, and Independiente cruised to a 3-0 home victory over Atletico Tucuman.
